SEPTEMBER SMALL GROUP SESSIONS
Improve your fastpitch skills this September with Small Group Sessions at The ATTIC!
Players will train in a focused, small-group environment with a maximum of six athletes per group. Led by experienced instructor Cora Zackrison, these sessions will focus on hitting and infield defense while helping athletes build strong fundamentals, improve confidence, and develop their skills in a fun, supportive environment.
Space is limited to six players per group, so register early to reserve your spot!
Session Details
Ages: 9–18U
Location: The ATTIC | 1892 17th Ave S, Fargo, ND 58103
Group Size: Maximum of 6 players
Dates: September 14, 21 & 28 (3 sessions)
Cost: $90 per participant, per group
Hitting with Cora Zackrison
Focus: Fundamentals of stance, grip, swing mechanics, strength, and power development.
Infield Defense with Cora Zackrison
Focus: Fundamentals of fielding ground balls, footwork, glove work, and throwing accuracy.
Available Groups
- Group 1 – Hitting: Ages 9–12 | 4:00–5:00 PM
- Group 2 – Infield Defense: Ages 9–12 | 5:00–6:00 PM
- Group 3 – Hitting: Ages 13–18 | 6:00–7:00 PM
- Group 4 – Infield Defense: Ages 13–18 | 7:00–8:00 PM
If a session is unavailable during registration, the group may be full. If registration numbers for a group are low, you may be contacted by the Fargo Area Sports office regarding alternative arrangements.
About the Instructor
Cora Zackrison
Cora brings more than 10 years of experience coaching youth and travel softball, along with six years of coaching at the collegiate level. She is an ASA Certified Softball Coach and earned a BA in Exercise Science from Concordia College, where she played four years of collegiate softball and served as team captain.
She later earned her MA in Leadership from the University of Jamestown and has held collegiate coaching positions at the University of South Carolina Beaufort and Northland College. Cora has since returned to Concordia College, where she currently serves as the head softball coach.
Additional Information
- Eligibility: Open to Fargo Area Fastpitch and Dakota Select players registered for the 2026 and/or 2027 season. Non-FAF/DS players may register beginning 10 days prior to the first session.
- Equipment: Players attending hitting sessions should bring a bat and helmet. Players attending infield defense sessions should bring a glove. Additional equipment will be available if needed.
- Footwear: Clean, dry tennis shoes are required. No cleats.
- Registration: Please use the 2027 Age Chart when selecting your age group. Registration is available at the bottom of the page.
